Dr. Feldman is board certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. He provides medication management and individual psychotherapy for children, adolescent and adults. His specialty areas include mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social phobia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder), ADHD/ADD, and autism spectrum disorders (including Asperger’s disorder). Dr. Feldman is a former All-ACC collegiate wrestler, and enjoys working with athletes as he has a particular understanding of the stresses and challenges they face. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his M.D. from Duke University. He completed his general psychiatry residency as well as his child and adolescent fellowship training at UNC-Chapel Hill and is currently an adjunct faculty member at UNC. He is a Fellow of the American and North Carolina Psychiatric Associations and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the North Carolina Medical Society.
