Dr. Stahl is board certified in general psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. She provides medication management, supportive and educational therapy, independent medical evaluations, and forensic services. Her specialty areas include adult and geriatric psychopharmacology, depression, bipolar disorder, dementia and memory disorders, anxiety disorders, medically ill populations, and women’s issues. She treats a wide range of psychiatric disorders and works with ages 18 and older. She received her B.S. degree at Florida State University and her M.D. at the University of Florida. She completed her psychiatry residency and served as chief resident at UNC-Chapel Hill and completed her geriatric psychiatry fellowship at Duke University. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the North Carolina Psychiatric Association, and the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry.
