Frank D. Castlebury, III, Ph.D.

Dr. Castlebury is board certified in psychology. He provides cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented, and interpersonal therapy for adults, adolescents, and couples. Specialty areas include the anxiety disorders spectrum, providing treatment for panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety. Other areas of specialty include mood disorders, personality assessment, ADHD evaluations, and helping individuals through life transitions such as divorce, grief, and loss. He received his B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his M.A. from East Carolina University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He completed his psychology internship at Emory University. Dr. Castlebury is an author on a number of publications, including publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has presented his work at national conference proceedings. He is a professional member of the American Psychological Association, the North Carolina Psychological Association, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and the Society for Personality Assessment. He has served since 2001 on the Professional Affairs and Ethics Committee of the North Carolina Psychological Association.
